Most data sits locked in spreadsheets and dashboards that only specialists can read. We think everyone should be able to ask a question, pull the numbers, and see the answer as a clear picture - then share what they found. Aesop Data is built to make that path short: pick a subject, and you are already looking at a live, editable chart.
From numbers to narrative
A chart on its own rarely persuades. The insight lives in what you draw attention to - the peak, the crossover, the outlier. So every chart here is markable: pin a line, circle a moment, add a note, write the one-sentence takeaway. String a few together into a Fable and you have a story you can present, publish, or share with a link.
Open by default
Every chart is built from public, third-party data. We don't charge for it and we don't claim it as our own - we aim to make each provider's numbers easier to explore and, in doing so, to support their mission. See exactly where everything comes from on the data sources & usage page.
